These shoes are not very good right out of the box. Here are some of the questions. There is no tongue in the shoe and the upper part under the laces is a sock integrated into the shoe. So it's not a shoe you put on quickly. When I finally put them on, there were a few hot spots on the toes of my feet. The shoe is quite snug, but I explained that by ordering the regular width and not the roomy size that New Balance is known for. Despite the bad first impression, I fell in love with these shoes. Before using them on court, I recommend wearing them around the house and even a few times as regular shoes. This is to loosen them up and adjust the inner sock to mitigate hot spots. Once you put it on properly, the shoe fits great and the shoe's on-court response will be amazing. I can see that the outsole is quite durable after wearing it 4 times a week for almost a month on heavy-duty hard courts. I have attached photos of the soles. First of all, the reason I bought them was the price. I usually wear shoes that are 11.5 wide but this was a size 12. After trying them on I liked them so much I bought another pair. I love my LAV V1.
