The cable is black and white (not the same as the product photos which show an all black cable) and is made out of some kind of absorbent rope, similar to fabric. It's not the standard plastic you see 99% of the time. Couldn't use it in my project. I had to run to order something else. Since my priorities for returns were low while I was nearing completion of the project, I also missed the return deadline (yes, it's my responsibility. One month is a reasonable return deadline). Now I'm sticking with it and because of the weird stuff on the cable I wouldn't use it in my shop either.
