This hook has 2 problems. It can only accommodate handbag handles that are 1/2 inch wide or less. My wallet handle is 1 inch wide and barely holds up in the photo. Even if your front car seats are not aligned, you will have a hard time getting your item off the hook. For example, I mount my driver's seat closer to the dash than the passenger seat for passenger comfort. As a result, it is difficult for me to reach the passenger side hook when sitting in the driver's seat.
