After being very dissatisfied with store bought non-dairy whipped cream I bought this product. I wanted more product and less waste (just the recyclable CO2 cartridge, not the whole can). After much experimentation, I have a recipe that works great and reliably produces mounds of non-dairy whipped cream. Now I give it to the world! In a blender, place the following: 1 13.5 oz. Can of Full Fat Coconut Milk With Added Guar Gum (I use Native Forest Organic) - all liquids and solids 3 tbsp. granulated sugar 2 pinches of xanthan powder a pinch of salt 1 tsp. Mix the vanilla extract and pour into the whipped cream dispenser. (Do not add CO2 cartridge yet.) Refrigerate overnight. Don't skip this step! The next day, add 1/2 cup rice milk to the jar. Close it and shake it vigorously about 30 times. Add CO2 cartridge and shake another 20 times. Turn the dispenser upside down and shake it towards the selected nozzle. You can use it right now! Keep it in the fridge and shake it a few times before each use. Do not claim this recipe as your own. Just share it and save the planet with delicious dairy-free whipped cream!
