The kids and I came up with a system where each color of the gem represents a reward that they can earn based on what they do. Every day I give them a white gem that costs 10 purple and so on. A gem's color is worth something and can be used to choose a place to visit (e.g. a zoo, museum, etc.) or to do something you love. and the whole family should do the same. or buy the video game you want. etc. It worked great and they keep them in a wooden treasure chest. They even agree among themselves when they want to operate the remote control in their room. It even helped with math because they have to add and multiply to figure out how much work it takes to get what they want and white gems into purple gems into green gems to convert, etc. Gemsthe highest value stones are blue. Gems and they are really working on getting one. They are worth it as a family trip to Disney. It will take you a year to get there lol. I am very happy with this purchase and had fun sorting them and putting them in different bins, writing down their value and the rewards assigned to them.
