I bought this thread to thread a mala but after several hours trying to thread all the beads I gave up. The fibers at the end would unravel about every 2-3 beads, and the individual fibers would keep breaking, creating a mess that prevented the beads from sliding down the string. I couldn't use a threading needle because the cord was too thick in diameter to double the size of the beads and it wouldn't go through the holes. I found this cord to be too stiff for the job and could not cope with this stiff hemp cord.
