These lights are not waterproof. So if you want to mount them on the surface as intended, you need to coat them with something first. I used a can of flexible gasket to spray the light and I used hot glue to waterproof the controller. I bought 3m wide double sided car tape to stick them to the headlights. The halos come with double sided tape but it seems very cheap so I didn't use it. Aside from that, the lights are pretty bright and they're definitely a hit at car shows. The only other issue I had is that when the light is set to white, it's actually light blue. So far I haven't had any problems, but if you live in a state with strict laws, the police can issue you a ticket if you have colored lights on the front of your car, even if they're set to white.
