This is designed more for valet use or car key storage, it even has a drop hole on the side. We have many keys including backups for cars, doors, safes, locks, etc. We keep backups in small plastic bags with labels so we can easily find them and easily check if we need them again. It always hurts to find the keys and not know what they are for. It might be overkill, but it will work once we refactor it. It's hard work, although someone might get in with a crowbar. And it's heavy, so it's imperative to install it, as it will tip over when you open the door. The hardware that comes with the mount isn't great. The screws need to be a bit longer to hold the bolt. Drywall anchors don't work well and don't hold it securely anyway. The kit includes several pendants on which you can hang keys of different colors. We spend most of our time assigning keys to them. But once that's done, they'll be organized and easily find the right key. Overall it's big and heavy but helps organize a lot of keys.
