A few years ago I bought a 42U rack and 9 shelves to store all my stereo components which are racks and shelves all smooth, flat, powder coated. I used my order history to purchase another shelf for a new component. The shelf arrived and was not powder coated, the shelf was gloss black with a crackle pattern and a rubbery texture and the color is soft. The shelf also had sharp protrusions from stamping. The protrusion on the front left can pose a cutting hazard. The product image shows the previous shelf I ordered, the shelf I received is completely different. I have powder coated shelves, not acrylic spray paint. Shelves with sharp edges versus shelves with sharp edges. If I installed it, you would say that this shelf is different, it would stand out. I even paid a few dollars more for a shelf than the previous one and was sent a poor quality product. If my original order was of this quality, the shelf that stands in my living room wouldn't be hers, I would return it.
