love it! I'm a true tile pro, but I was looking for something that didn't come with a demo or permanent tiles. Behind these glued tiles is a tile, just like the floor in the picture below. It worked great. I chose to ignore the cutting direction of the first edge just because of my exact measurements of the chimney, but it took a long time to fill in each of the little triangles on the left because I did. Be sure to read the instructions! Overall I'm very satisfied, I've had several home install pros and they couldn't believe I was stuck. However, when you touch it, it's definitely an almost sticky texture. Very smooth but a little sticky, not easy to clean. If they could make the texture smoother and more tile-like, that would be my permanent choice, but I'm very happy here by the fireplace. It would be a little worrying to clean the splash guard.
