After all, the truth is in advertising. It's better than advertised. and the data transfer works!
After purchasing several cables from a local computer store that claimed to be "fully usable" with my Samsung Galaxy S7 but could only charge and not transfer data, I took a chance. Finally, truth in the ad, it worked better than advertised. Transfers data and charges without interruption. I especially like the phone jack because it fits snugly and doesn't fall out or dangle like some of the store-bought cords. Get it and you'll be glad you did.
