This backpack feels so soft, yet its construction feels solid with no dangling threads or slick zippers. All pockets are deep and big enough for my needs. My bag didn't have an odd smell, as other reviewers have thankfully pointed out. It's stylish vegan leather and I really appreciate the security pocket on the back. The only thing that bothers me are the straps. Sometimes they come undone when I'm carrying a heavy load, but other than that I'm happy and have bought a different color. I may buy a 3rd color in the future if my 2nd purchase is as good as the 1st!
