When multi cookers were just starting to catch on and become popular, I took them and went shopping. But I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of different brands, models and features and I gave up. And it got harder and harder over time. So even though I really wanted one, I just couldn't figure out which one was the best. Last week while looking for a replacement for my crockpot (which has had a very long and hard working life) I stumbled across this. A brand I know and trust, highly rated by ATK, with all the features I wanted and many more, for just a few bucks more than I expected to pay for a regular slow cooker? Simple solution. So I had high hopes. As soon as it arrived I washed it and started reading the booklets that came with it. I realized there was a learning curve, so I picked a very simple recipe from their brochure and gave it a try. We were totally thrilled, my expectations were exceeded by far. Now I've cooked a few things and with every recipe I try I'm liking it more and more. The only thing I would like to change is the inner non-stick pot. I would prefer stainless steel. But it's not Teflon and I've come to terms with it. Only buy silicone or wooden accessories like a stand (for some reason the one that comes with it is metal), tongs, etc.
