Review on 🔪 John Boos Maple Classic Chopping Block - Reversible End Grain 20x15x2.25 by David Holmes

Very annoying. Cracked after 57 days with EXTREMELY careful and proper care. I've oiled the cutting board, waxed it, kept it dry, and wiped it down after EVERY use and DURING use, and yet it cracked less than two months after purchase. I cook almost every day but as the pictures show it was treated in an exemplary manner. It still cracked. I don't know what else to say, except when I'm paying close to $200 for a cutting board I expect it to last a very, very long time, 57 days isn't quite right. Obviously Boos puts a lot of work into making beautiful woodwork, but they need to find a way to solve this problem. The look of this board is amazing, but it can't crack, especially after two months. I hope they fix this problem. (06/02/2015)
