It was worse than before. Rings are bullshit. The tool was fine.
Installed o-rings per instructions. It was worse than before. The inner flange wasn't bent or anything, and I didn't over tighten the nut. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I suspect the o-rings just weren't big/thick enough to create a seal. I tried 3 times with different o-rings from the kit and got the same result. I wouldn't waste your time with that.
