Hold up the blade to sharpen. Regular sandpaper will do, but no leather slings as instructed. Why no skin? It cuts into him because you're essentially driving the blade into the skin. Of course you can finish the sanding belt part and then remove the guide to use the leather belt, but then your angles will only be approximate. Anyway, I've never seen a vertical belt sander that rotates. I guess because it would be dangerous to throw things in your face, right. I didn't just give 1 star because the build quality of the manual is really good. I've tried flipping things to sharpen edge down instead of up, but couldn't get that to work. One can only hope that the manufacturer fixes this by sanding the edge.
