The rear of my 2005 Legacy station wagon was quite low which caused camber issues and tire wear. Typical Subaru "saggy ass syndrome". The car came with new rear springs/shock absorbers and I didn't want to replace them for that reason alone so I decided to give it a try as I figured it wouldn't be a huge loss if they didn't work. Well they worked. I've gained over an inch in height and the car is level now. No noticeable difference in ride quality. Assembly was fairly easy, although the tire does need to be removed. Lubricate the spring and booster very well and just stick them in there, thread them down the spring until they can't move and that's it. 5 minutes per side. My photos show before and after.
