My wife's allergies really started after we moved. Her allergist said an air purifier in the bedroom might help. But I didn't expect to hear the fan at night. Then I saw an ad for this air purifier. Noise is definitely not an issue here. It has multiple fan settings. I like to start with the fan at high RPM. You can tell that the air in the room is rotating very quickly. Then I turn it down to the lowest setting and we go to bed. It really is a low whisper. I didn't even think they could make fans so quiet. I confess I don't know how to judge "clean" air. I will say we have been using it for over 2 weeks now and my wife's allergies bother her a lot less in the morning when she wakes up. It was the worst time of the day for her. So it's a big plus that it appears to be doing what we bought it for. And like I said, the best part is how quiet the fan runs at the lowest settings.
