This is a nice compact portable fan that can be used in many areas. It is compact enough when folded to fit in a storage or travel box and is 14 inches tall when shortened and 40 inches tall when unfolded. I like that the front panel can be easily removed to clean the blades. The run time is listed in the instructions as 8-20 hours and I tested it at low speed and got away with 16 hours after the battery was fully charged. I think it will last the longest in Natural Wind mode and could hit the 20 hour mark. Has 3 speeds; Low, medium and high as well as a natural wind mode that randomly changes speed like a breeze through a window i.e. high, low, high, medium for a few seconds, as such. I don't know if I like the natural wind mode, but I think it will find use in a child's room, for example. I like that it has a lithium battery because you can charge it without having to wait for the battery to die like you had to do with nickel cadmium batteries in the past. I will mainly use it in our caravan, both for cooling and for transferring heat on cold days. It takes up to 8 hours to charge via USB, but you can use it while it's charging, and it also has a USB port that you can also plug your phone into to charge it.
