Nice unit though. for Desktop

This is from Quality Recertified. I received the device on time and set it up as a small server to replace my Raspberry Pi. Of course, it's much more powerful even compared to the Pi 4. I set it up and got it up and running in a few days, to my delight. It's been working fine for a week until yesterday. Did some tests and the SSD caught fire. It was a Suneast SE800 which I have never heard of and I doubt HP supplied it to their departments. The repair people probably took out the HD (if the people they got these units from had them) and put in the cheapest SSD they could find. I had a couple of 250GB SSDs lying around so I decided to replace them. (I wasn't planning on returning the unit just to get another one with a useless SSD.) I noticed that whoever inserted the mounting tabs on the SSD monkey squeezed it and twisted the insert, causing it to rotate. You don't have to worry about assembly here. An independent review of the disc found the disc to be bad. So the bottom line is: A good block, but you want to open it up and make sure you have a quality SSD. If necessary, replace the disc with a good quality disc. I will update if something in the device caused the drive to fail, but I doubt it.
