Bought to replace a very old unit that had reached the end of its life. I have a bathtub drain that slows down and needs depilating about every 6-8 months as 3 people shower in it daily. This little gem worked great as his head is a lot bigger than my old one and was able to catch more hair blockages and get them out the drain instead of just pushing them further down the pipe. I've never hooked it up to a drill and just used the tried and true hand crank method instead. within 6-8 minutes I caught and removed the entire hairball and now the bath is dripping like a champ. This drain auger seems to be much better than my old one and the overall layout of the device is very convenient for manual use. Save a lot of money by trying this before you call the plumber.
