Our bathtub has become a wasteland of containers precariously placed on a shelf around the bathtub. Hanging on the wall opposite the shower head, this shelf has enough space for everything. The wall is a composite with grooves that mimic tile (not as big as grout lines). The trolley comes with two discs that can be used to attach to a porous surface. I didn't use them because the wall is porous, but to smooth joints. Before charging it I took the advice to let it sit for a day and then tightened the suction cups a little more a few times over the next week. Caddy was safe. It won't get wet in the shower in place, and although it's only been in place for two months, it looks like it's holding up well to corrosion. Very very happy with the product. Update March 2020. So far it looks good with no corrosion. Safely stayed on the tile.
