Previously works great at 0ppm. Connected to the output of the reverse osmosis system. It's been like this for a few weeks and I don't see much of a change in color. But I haven't tried replacing the resin yet. There were no fittings in the kit, which is annoying, but luckily I had fittings from another DI filter that didn't work. The standard reverse osmosis system works with 1/4 inch pipe fittings. You want the fittings to fit the cartridge with threads on one side. You can insert bare 1/4" tubing, even one you cut off, and tighten. Then screw it into this cartridge. Update: After one year it was producing 22ppm (30ppm by reverse osmosis). The next Times I will replace maybe in 6 months It was easy to open and fill It took a while to open but didn't need any tools Based on all the 1 star reviews of it breaking I didn't tighten it heavily when resealing .Just snug.I don't think that little force could ever break anything.Even then it won't drip. You may need a tool to open it,but when closing it please just hold it firmly with your hand and don't strain it.Or you could be the next 1 star reviewer who broke your filter.
