After using a flexible leather passport cover for more than 10 years, I decided to upgrade - and it was a big upgrade! I travel around the world several times a year, often with my family of four. With both of our kids still very young, I am constantly juggling all the paperwork that comes with customs, immigration and travel and this wallet should help give you peace of mind when it comes to paperwork. Avoid my worst nightmare of losing passport for one of us. The zipper is very smooth for such a strong product. Resembles the zipper on Levi jeans, but is smoother - doesn't close at all. The large leather handle is easy to grip. All four passes fit in easily without causing a bulge like my previous one. The pen loop inside is a nice addition. I suppose I'll always leave a pen there so I don't have to rummage around at the last minute to fill out immigration forms. The boarding papers fit in comfortably (see image) but I really appreciate the neat rear boarding papers slot for internal connections that don't require paperwork in the wallet. Tight enough that I feel like they won't fall out without sliding too hard. Besides the excellent zipper, the biggest surprise was the quality of the leather. It's very attractive and the finish is perfect (to my taste), a little less matte than nubuck, nice matte finish. I really like hard leather and can compare its quality to my Thorogood boots and 100 year old Hanks belt as really excellent. It's not hard to give this wallet 5 stars. I sincerely expect to use this for at least the next 20 years. I'll try to come back in a few years and update it to see how it handles wear and tear and I suspect it hasn't had any issues.
