Review on 🪑 Portable Green Screen Chair – 56in/142cm, Green Chroma Key for Video Chats, Zoom, and Virtual Backgrounds by William Mathis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for a large room

My study is in a large room with walls that match the color of my skin. If I tried to use Zoom backgrounds I would look like a hologram coming and going. I tried putting a green leaf on the wall behind me but I think it was too far away to be very effective. A colleague jokingly sent a photo of this product (let's face it, it looks funny. Also, to be more realistic, the model should be wearing pajama bottoms). Thought it would be cheap enough to try. It came faster than I expected and is easy to set up. There's enough room so it doesn't hit my ceiling fan or light. It works like a charm and I'm glad I tried it. I'm about 18 months behind on messing around with the fun backgrounds that light up some of my encounters. While not enough to affect my rating, it takes some getting used to cranking it back up. If you've ever had one of those car sun visors that fold up for storage, it's the same concept (I've never had one, or I might fold it up already). Since I'm in meetings most of the day, I just leave it on all the time. Depending on where your light is, this can block your light or create shadows. I'm using a webcam with a built-in light, so the slight shadows this element casts don't affect me at all. I can absolutely recommend this item. I've had a car visor like this before.
