Ideal for VCRs with only component output
The problem I had prior to purchasing this was that I had to hook up a JVC DVD/VCR combo which only had component and composite outputs but neither on my new LED. WATCH TV. This solution worked great as I had a lot of empty HDMI ports on the TV I was using. I didn't realize these adapters needed their own USB power supply, so make sure you have an extra outlet. The box contained a USB power supply, a USB block, an HDMI cable and red-yellow-white component cables with sockets permanently connected to the conversion box.
