It really works! on audio and video accessories

Ease of use. Perfect piece! Plugged the cable into my laptop and converter, then plugged into a separate VHS recorder I own and it worked fine from the start. Easy to install and works great

Great little device.

It just does its job quietly and consistently no matter what is being turned on or off, it just resets and works again. All devices must be so reliable. This device is highly recommended as a solution!

This product does not suit me

Unfortunately, this product does not suit me. When I plug it into my TV and connect my Roku via HDMI, the screen is blurry and just keeps spinning. I've tried every RCA slot on my TV and it works the same.

Everything is as described and easy to connect

Use it to connect the Firestick to an old TV that does not have an HDMI input. So I just plugged the adapter into the RCA/Audio-Video input on the front of the TV. Would definitely recommend to a family member or friend. Thank you for a great and easy to use product 😀 👍

Doesn't work for new HDMI TVs

Didn't work for me at all. I had an old AV DVD player and a new HDMI TV. It turned out to be for the opposite. Old AV TV and new HDMI products. I had to go back and just buy an HDMI DVD player. I think it would work if it was the other way around. But I can't verify that as all my TVs are HDMI equipped.

Good, it works. suitable for accessories and consumables

I've used some old "square" HDMI RCA boxes and they work but you can get a bad one. I keep spares just in case and always check them when they arrive. This is a different form and possibly a newer and possibly improved version. I can't say for sure, but it worked right out of the box and seems a little better than older versions. Only time and continued use will tell.

Doesn't convert Chromecast HDMI to RCA for your stereo (updated)

The product description says Chromecast. This device does not accept Chromecast HDMI output and converts it to analog RCA output as described. I asked the seller to remove the Chromecast from the description to avoid confusion. Ideal for VCRs with only component output

The problem I had prior to purchasing this was that I had to hook up a JVC DVD/VCR combo which only had component and composite outputs but neither on my new LED. WATCH TV. This solution worked great as I had a lot of empty HDMI ports on the TV I was using. I didn't realize these adapters needed their own USB power supply, so make sure you have an extra outlet.
