Review on 🐟 Advanced Lowrance HDS-Live Fish Finder with Multi-Touch Screen, Live Sonar Compatibility, and Preloaded C-MAP US Enhanced Mapping by Jon Lewis

I purchased this item on July 29th and went to install it last Sunday. The installation of the converter went without incident, but when I turned on the Lowrance HDS Live 9 inch, the device had a nice screen, but for 30 seconds after starting, the screen froze and I couldn't navigate with any buttons. After about a minute, the device shuts down completely and then restarts, only to repeat the same thing all over again. This cycle continues over and over until you just get frustrated. I tried calling the Lowrance service center and was given a case number and then put on hold for over an hour and they didn't even have the decency or courtesy to return the call or even try to contact me again. With rave reviews and beautiful YouTube videos they've posted, I expected a lot more from them considering these devices are arguably more expensive than any comparable device. Needless to say, due to the installation of the sensor and the setup of the device, the original packaging was destroyed and I was left with a device that doesn't notice, but looks beautiful when it's off and it may be too late to return it . My son was about to buy a 12" HDS Live for his boat and after seeing the issues I was having with mine he changed his mind and I couldn't blame him. He would probably have a 12 inch paperweight. What an unfortunate disappointment and waste of time, effort and energy installing a converter. DO NOT BUY this device as you will receive it if there is any problem. The disease of frustration
