Too soft for cotton balls and swabs
I've used square quilted cotton swabs for years and they have worked very well. It seemed like they could be better, and for some, they could be. I felt they were too soft, fell apart too easily. Also, they stick together and it can be difficult to separate them without damaging them. In short, I still prefer quilted cotton squares, but they're way better than any round pads I've found, and way better than just a cotton ball.
