Review on 🚐 Hopkins 20146 8-Foot 7-Pin RV Blade Molded Trailer Cable by Chris Rigsby

I bought this cord to replace an old plug and cords on my 14ft trailer. The connector is very strong and fused to the cable itself. One of them must be the bad guy if he was in my trailer when it was made. I love how well this thing is made, the conductors are designed for more than my needs. Ground (White) - #10ga Electric Brake (Blue) - #12ga Positive + DC/Auxiliary Voltage (Black) - #12ga Right Turn and Brake (Green) - #14ga Left Turn and Brake (Yellow) - #14ga , Story/Marker (Brown) - #14ga. The sheath surrounding the group of wires is the correct thickness. The insulation on each wire is also the correct thickness. The ends of each cable are pre-stripped for easy installation. The cable is quite thick but flexible so it can be connected in any direction you want. The length is perfect for my needs. This manufacturer deserves a lot of credit for a well put together product. When the time comes when I need to buy a new cable, this will be one of them. Nice job Hopkins! Many thanks to "BigDodge" for his advice on lubricating all the connections on both ends of this cable. I did it and all I can say is that I should have done it a long time ago! UPDATE: 08/02/2014 Almost a year has passed since my purchase. I pulled the cable a few times when using a vehicle other than a regular pickup truck to tow a trailer. There is a mark on the cable, but no insulation is visible from the cables themselves. I use this trailer several times a month and so far I am very happy with this purchase.
