Review on CORSAIR Carbide Mid Tower Solid Panel by Kevin Elliott

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great case for any setup

Great case for any setup. 6 x 120mm fan slots or 4 x 140mm + 120mm rear. Accommodates 240mm or 280mm rail at top and 240mm or 360mm rail at front. With the way the fan mounts are made, you can easily mix and match any combination of 140mm and 120mm fans to get this case working for you. Great slots for cable management (no rubber grommets unfortunately). The lack of drive bays on the front is actually a plus in my opinion as the drive bays are ugly. Drives are attached with cables to the back of the case. Out of sight out of mind. The only way this case won't work for you is if you NEED a CD/external media. Drives are so obsolete right now that it almost doesn't matter. Excellent build quality, no sharp edges inside. The only downside to the interior is that the PSU shroud makes it difficult to work with the underside of the motherboard if you have a full-size GPU. Removing the GPU is easy, though, and the fairing will be the same anyway. All in all a phenomenal case for the price.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I won't say anything
