This a substantial product and I suspect it would last a long time. However, it is not meant for a typical wallet and for me that made it a waste of money. It’s thick, at least as thick as a standard credit card and definitely thicker than my other plastic medical cards. But the deal breaker for me is the width. It did not fit in the credit card pouches in my standard trifold wallet. Just to see, I tried it in my wife’s larger wallet. Once again it would not fit into the credit card pouches. If you leave your Medicare card in a drawer, I’m sure it will work just fine. Ditto if you want to carry it loose in your pocket or purse. But don’t count on putting it in your wallet.
