Short life, only two settings

Edit: I'm updating my review due to good customer service. I was contacted quickly and given the option to exchange the light or get a refund. Thanks for the help - everything was solved. Original message: battery life after charging is about 1 1/2 nights, when charging the red light is on, but then there are only 2 brightness options - bright and soft. I had it less than a month and it stopped working? Also not very helpful
