Worthy Cheap Replacement Reversing Camera for Honda Accord

The original reversing camera in my 2014 Honda Accord EX-L (4 cyl, no NAV) had noise and horizontal stripes on the screen. See first picture. I ran diagnostics and they said the wiring was fine so the camera probably failed. When I took out the original camera, I noticed corrosion on the screws behind the camera and water under the trunk lid. The wiring or internal parts of the camera may have gotten wet. So I ordered this replacement camera as it was $140 cheaper than the OEM and I could get it in 2 days. There are a few small differences compared to OEM: the foam around the camera mount was thicker and the cable was slightly shorter, there is no foam insulation on the cable, made in China vs US for OEM. Because the foam padding was thicker, it was a bit difficult to get the camera back in place. First I had to squeeze the foam a bit with pliers and use some force to lock it in place. The cable is shorter, so the cable bend is sharper closer to the connector. I removed the old foam insulation from the original cable and slipped it over the replacement camera cable to protect it from sharp metal edges. In the pictures, the OEM camera is on the left and this replacement is on the right. Overall the resolution of the replacement camera is good and does what it's supposed to do and saved me some money. Update - 3 days after installation, the camera screen became much darker. when I started the car in the cold morning. After warming up, it returned to normal brightness. I've noticed this a few times. I posted another photo showing a darker screen.
