Review on 🚿 American Standard 066070-2950A Aerator, 2.2gpm/8.3L/min, Satin Nickel Finish, with 15/16-Inch Male Threads by William Anacker

Purchased this unit to replace the aerator on a Moen single handle bath faucet. A regular hardware store item (anything they had) worked the same way after sanding a soft white pad to about half its original thickness, but the flow was limited (water saving) and uneven. This American standard aerator also had to grind the black rubber gasket to make it thinner, but not by much. Without dilution, no aerator could turn in enough threads to screw it back into its original position. Thinning the ring was necessary as the faucet was slightly deformed. This standard American aerator works great. Exactly what was needed. Please make sure your faucet has a 15/16" female thread before ordering this item (very common).
