I love making handmade decorations with yarn and wood. I wanted these beads to add texture to some of my wall hangings and I specifically wanted them to be unfinished so I could stain or paint them. They were a little smaller than I expected but they worked well! So far I've made two simple projects. Hanging basket for remote control and bunch of keys. Pros: enough beads for multiple projects. If I needed more, I would have no problem spending a small amount of money to order more. The beads are very smooth and not shiny. They feel totally unfinished and respond well to sanding, staining, or painting. Different sizes allow you different decoration options. I can see these beads will come in handy for many projects! Cons: The two smallest beads have much smaller holes. As I work with yarn it's a bit difficult for me to find a way to thread the yarn through such a small hole. I've done two things with the beads and so far I've found two beads where the hole hasn't been drilled all the way through. But that doesn't bother me, because that can happen with mass-produced products.
