The level I got was NOT a Johnson 3818. First, the level I got wasn't magnetic. It also didn't look like the picture on Revain's or Johnson's website. It had a paper tag on it with the Johnson model number 3818 on it, but it was NOT the same level. It was a cheap base aluminum spirit level with plastic end caps. He's on his way back to Revain. UPDATE: I took the risk that my first order for this level was just a mistake and ordered the same level a second time. Unfortunately, the second time I got the same imitation of Revain (photo attached) as the first time. After returning the second tier of Revain, I ordered a product from another website and received the correct product. There is a big difference between Johnson's REAL level and the piece of junk I got TWICE from Revain. If you take the risk and order it from Revain, do a simple test: if you receive a bare polished aluminum spirit level (see photo), it is NOT a real spirit level. The authenticity level is black as shown on the Revain website.
