Review on HP Pavilion 23Xw Backlit Monitor: Full HD 1920X1080P, 60Hz, HDMI – J7Y75AA#ABA by Marty Escobar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Definitely a 4 star monitor

This is definitely a 4 star monitor. The display is pretty sharp. I think the colors are correct. It looks good and works well with my 2012 Mac mini. I like that the Mac mini fits on the base of the stand, almost like a candy bar. Art. The only negative I can think of is that the display has small bezels, but the display area itself doesn't extend from bezel to bezel, rather there is extra space between the bezel and the start of the screen. Another thing is that light is visible in the lower right corner of the screen. IPS screens have a backlight, but that's more due to the design of the case, it has a gap that makes the light more visible. Finally, an adhesive tape was applied to the case, which included a cardboard cover to protect the screen. Unfortunately, removing the tape left marks on the case that are clearly visible and I was unable to remove them.
