New design flawed in my review

We’ve ordered these before and loved them. I ordered more for gifts and since our last order, they changed the design to include a buckle, which interferes with the book closing properly. There is no way move the buckle to the front. If the pen part wasn’t stitched in and you could slide it, that would fix things, but alas, it’s currently a horrible design. Too late to return them. Ordering a different brand to replace them.
