I bought this set to spread huhu at home. I'm a regular visitor to waxing salons so my hair and I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. I was impressed with the number (and size options!) of the strips. I liked the smell of wax. I read the instructions and felt safe. I grabbed some starch from the pantry (to dust myself off), laid a towel on the kitchen floor, and went into town. I know the kitchen sounds weird, but I wanted to be closer to the microwave. 10 seconds didn't quite suit me, so I stayed 3 seconds longer. AND THEN IT WAS HOT! impermanent things. During this experiment I had to warm up the jar in the microwave, so the kitchen was a good idea. Applying the wax and tearing off the strips was very easy. I found the pain less than in salons. It was very similar to the Biore pore strip except it wasn't. He took ALL my hair? No, but I attribute it to a learning curve. It was difficult to get into all of this on my own, but I think it gets easier with practice. I'm a BELIEVER, y'all! I wrote to all my waxing friends to share my excitement. I think this jar is enough for 4-5 procedures. That's about $3 for a wax compared to $65 for a salon visit? REGISTER ME!
