Not to cut grass. The pockets are very thin.
I bought these bags to collect grass after mowing and they are terrible for that. The cut grass is very heavy and these bags are very, very thin. I have a 32 gallon trash can and these bags are too wide. So when I start tossing the grass clippings the sack just collapses as there is no way to securely attach it to the trash can. I really wanted them to please, I'm a game when it comes to improving the environment (hence 2 stars) but these bags just didn't work for my lawn clippings.
