just a little back round reason I purchased these shorts, I have recently have been home for a few months with back issues, having surgery on April 6th and when I say a few months I'm talking December to date which has been 4 months of doing NOTHING active and have put on a few extra lbs. from the medication's and not being active, I will have scars on my belly side and back after surgery so I wanted to have something a little baggier for a vacation in June, when I received the shorts I was quite happy with the color same as pictured I tried them on and loved the looks also, no pocket in back just in the front, the pockets are awesome! they have elastic so easy to put things in them if so please to do so and the over all look is pretty flattering, I am at the moment 5'6 215 lbs. sporty build most of the time lol, I hope this helps. all in all I think these are cute, comfortable and fashionable, and for the most part flattering. good luck
