Yes it will fit a 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx! For some reason Revine's system says this switch doesn't fit my car, but it actually does! My Story: The original car mirror switch no longer worked to adjust a mirror, so I decided to try this inexpensive switch. I watched a YouTube video on how to slide out the plastic door panel to access the back of the switch. This part was a little tricky but I took my time and didn't break anything. Once the trim was off I removed all the wire harnesses to make it easier to use the old switch. You'll need to gently pry open both sides of the plastic holding the switch in place. This process took three screwdrivers and a little patience. After the old switch went off I just plugged in the new one, reconnected the wires, plugged in the panel and I'm back in business!
