I just got one of the smaller handheld airbrushes with a compressor and wanted to try it out with something simple and easy to clean first. These stencils are great for my practice work - I can start with an image and then try to work in the shaded areas and add a small amount of other colors to give the flower, bird and/or leaf some depth and a little more to impart realism. One day I'll try to do it freehand, but for now, starting with stencils, I'm learning how to control and how to shadow/highlight realistically. I love airbrushing and have been collecting some stencils lately. This is a beautiful set of flowers that will come in handy.
