Review on Trideer Pro Grade Boxing Gloves for Men & Women - Unleash Your Training Potential with Kickboxing, Heavy Bag Punching & More! by Michael Copeland

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I have to go back because of the pain they are causing my joints.

I am just starting out in muay thai and have bought these gloves and also a pair of Venom - Elite gloves. I wanted to compare because they both had decent reviews and these were a bit cheaper and I liked the look a bit more. My rating is based on first impressions as I haven't started my course yet. When unfolded, they look really beautiful! I love black and gold. Aesthetically, it's definitely beautiful. Although I don't know much about Muay Thai and boxing yet, I can say that these things need to be brought back. The inner part is better for my small hands, it seems to be a bit firmer at least. However, they are nowhere near as soft as the Venoms I've bought. Both are 14 oz. I pretended to hit my girlfriend's gloves when she put the Venoms on and those really hurt. Blows (even light ones) severely damaged the middle joints of the fingers. I feel like if I actually put power into my shots they might pop or damage them to be honest. I don't dare wear them to class. Otherwise first impressions are that they are stiff which is to be expected I'm sure but they appear to be well made. They just don't support my hands as much as the Venom Elite. Maybe they fit in slightly larger hands? I'm not sure. We have to go back and leave the Venoms. I would say that they can be suitable for beginners. But as a beginner who wants to keep at it and get better, they don't fit.
