I bought this device because it looks like a very good idea but it didn't work as expected and a much simpler and cheaper solution works better for us. First, despite the "wide-angle upgrade," the laser width isn't wide enough for two cars parked a reasonable distance (say, 3 feet). It took me a long time trying different locations and different angles, but the best I could do was aim the laser at the center of one car and the passenger side of the other. The problem is that the car has a center console, so sometimes I miss a small dot when it lands on the side of the console. Second, to partially park the second car in the garage, we need to rotate the car so the front of the car isn't in the same spot and isn't exactly parallel to the front of the garage. This makes it difficult to judge distance when the red dot lands in a different spot each time. I believe that over time we will be able to find good places to stop. I wasn't entirely happy with the product so I bought Camco AccuPark Vehicle Parking Aid and realized I was solving a simple problem with a complex solution as this simple piece of plastic works so much better than a laser. The biggest difference is that you don't have to look for the laser dot and the car will stop automatically when it comes to "Parking Assist". So you might trip over something without paying attention to the laser, but definitely don't crash into the wall until you speed into the garage. There really is no need to catch the red dot game every time you park.
