I'm not a professional cleaner but I'm a qualified engineer who has spent hours researching vacuum cleaners of all brands and price ranges to find something find gold worth. I rarely write reviews, but this product definitely deserves it. I've reviewed dozens of vacuum cleaners and read literally hundreds of reviews here and on other consumer comparison sites. I didn't buy it because of the price (although it makes the decision easier) but because there were very few complaints about the filtration system, its cleaning and maintenance. With many other more expensive vacuums, the filter system is inconvenient and difficult to access and remove. Failure to do so will result in engine failure and this is usually an out-of-warranty issue. It's well designed so the detachable parts are obvious and have a logical position that's hard to get confused. The point is that it is easy to disassemble and reassemble. Sure there are vacuums with longer hoses, stronger suction, etc., but it cleaned a room that hadn't been touched in a while with minimal effort. I can't talk about differences in carpet thickness etc as I mostly have hardwoods, rugs and low rugs. but it works and works fine. I would buy again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient bagless vacuum that is easy to clean and maintain.
