Exactly what I needed
This switch allowed me to bypass the sound around my TV (which could not process Dolby out through the optical output), and allowed me to route my cable box and DVD sound through my stereo system optical input. It adds one more remote to the pile, but it allows me to fully use the surround sound in my entertainment system. A real life saver and headache remover!
