It is simple and easy hardware to install. I plug all my devices trough this switch and the remote help select the output from one device to another. The sound output is awesome. Overall, this audio optical switcher 3x1 with remote control is a bargain and its quality surpasses my expectation. It never overheats. Mine is plugged to the power outlet all the time. I highly recommend this product.

Works as advertised. Nice that it comes with the power adapter. Remote with included battery did not work. Put in a fresh battery and it was fine. Using with TV and cable box "in" and soundbar "out". Easy set up (1to 2 minutes) and easy to use.

I ordered this product to have both my Xbox and PlayStation plugged in to the mixer of my headphones. It works great! Well. the second one works great, the first one they sent me didn't work at all. I was able to get sound out of 1 port, no lights ever came on on the front and switching didn't seem to work at all.But I returned the first one, got the second one in a couple days later and this one is perfect! Exactly what I was looking for so maybe I just got a bad one the first time?

This switch allowed me to bypass the sound around my TV (which could not process Dolby out through the optical output), and allowed me to route my cable box and DVD sound through my stereo system optical input. It adds one more remote to the pile, but it allows me to fully use the surround sound in my entertainment system. A real life saver and headache remover!

The only flaw I found was not in the item itself but the packaging, the power cord can easily rip. The device itself is both cost effective and efficient I got it for use between Xbox and pc for a turtle Beach headset, and the remote is really handy as it can also turn the device on and off (even came with a battery) I plan to order another in the future like I said other than a weak power cord there are no other flaws I came across

Great item that does exactly what it says it will. I am successfully running 3 video game systems into the switch for output through a sound bar.2 issues with the product:The switch will power off by itself randomly. It's occurred 6 times since purchase.The second issue is minor and has to do with the remote. Pressing the power button will sometimes result in 2 button presses. I had this switch setup in a matter of minutes. I was able connect it to my audio receiver so I could easily switch inputs from my cable box, xbox and PC. Didn't even have to turn off any of my devices. Remote is small and will likely end up between the couch cushions, but that's true for most remotes. I put little dymo labels under each of the 3 buttons to help my wife keep track of the channels, haha.

This works perfectly for my intended use, I bought it to be able to quickly with no fuss and just the push of a button be able to switch audio input for my headset from my playstation to my pc and back and forth works great, very nicely built I was expecting cheap plastic it is in fact a metal case. I previously bought a switch that was plastic and had all kinds of interference, static. This is a better design than the many similar clones out on Revain. It stays flat and doesn't look like a spider with inputs and outputs coming in and going out on all sides. Most importantly, it doesn't use IR and thankfully the remote works well even if the unit is hidden somewhere and partially out of sight. System works as expected, but the remote control is suboptimal and fails to work unless the battery holder is wedged in exactly right (it's cheap plastic). Tried to get them to sell me a replacement remote to no avail. Will have to buy a whole new unit instead. Will look for other manufacturers to see if their remotes work better.

We used the product to connect a Blu-Ray player and a PS4 to an older amp that has no hdmi input. Set up was easy, sound is excellent. Some people might think that the remote is just another remote that gets lost in the couch, but we find it to be very handy. If you don't like the the remote, there is a button on the face of the unit that turns it on and you use to cycle through the three lines.

It works pretty well - once you figure out how to hook it up. The instructions are almost nonexistent. I would have liked to place it behind the TV but it only works in line of sight. So, if you can't see it, neither can the remote. It's nice and small though so not very conspicuous.
