Works out of the box with straight forward directions for anyone that needs them. Nice thing is only the inputs need to be switched with the remote. All outs are always functioning. A very sturdy box and after a long while plugged in there is no heat coming off the box at all.The box only comes with USB and optical cables which both can be plugged into the TV (if your TV has USB ports). If not, can use a common android plug to use an electrical outlet.

Shipping, packaging and installation were great. I will need to get some velcro to keep it from tilting up. My new TV lacks passing dolby 5.1 and DTS 5.1 from an incoming HDMI connection out an optical connection. It only supports it for over the air broadcasts or apps running on the TV. Because of this I had to invest in this product and run long optical audio cables.Ive used the switcher multiple times daily for 2 weeks now without any issues. Simple and easy to use.

I just installed a Bose LifeStyle 300 system in my home. To my surprise, the new amp does not have an optical out gor my headphones. This switch allows me to connect my head phones directly to my TV and Cable box. Problem solved.

Bought this to replace a different toslink switch id had for a year or so and im very pleased to see its aluminum body compared to the cheap plastic of my former switch (which cost a little bit more than this). Super easy and straight forward setup had everything up and running again in just a few minutes.

It is working perfectly so far. A cable box and a Blu-Ray both with optical out are now connected to a $350 LG Soundbar / Wireless Sub that only has one optical / SPDIF audio input.

I used this product as a optical cable switch from my TV, BluRay DVR and DirecTV Dish DVR. It was easy to install and worked the first time. The only problem I have is the remote control from the eSynic 3 Port Toslink Switch Digital Optical Audio Switcher changes the volume on my Zvox speaker. What I do is get some exercise by getting up and going to the box and switch the box manually. Works great.

Update.Without me having to ask I was sent a free replacement by the seller (eSynic) even after receiving a refund on the bad unit. The new one is working great. No issues.
